ABOUT ABOUT

Researching one’s heritage is akin to being a detective! Whether you are just beginning this new adventure or whether you have run into that proverbial “brick wall” that happens quite often in genealogy, you will learn very important clues that will make your journey a more productive experience.

Attendees will learn how to make their genealogy journey a more productive experience, including how to begin researching, the distinct idiosyncrasies of Slovenian culture and history that will influence research methodology, valuable web resources, and skills needed to identify what is most important in records such as ship manifests, naturalization papers, census reports, etc. and much more. So, put on your detective’s hat and become your family’s “Sherlock Holmes!”

This presentation will be streamed live via the Cleveland Kurentovanje website, Facebook page and YouTube channel.
